The George T. Lewis Airport
The George T. Lewis Airport, or the Cedar Key Airport (KCDK), has been a great asset to the city of Cedar Key since 1936. It is an uncontrolled airport (no air traffic control) and has great notoriety in the Florida aviation community because of it's unique location and undeniable beauty to fly in and out of.

The Cedar Key Island Air Tours begin from the ramp found at the southwest end of the runway (highlighted). Please take care not to walk or drive on or near the runway since this is dangerous for both you and the air traffic. From the dock or downtown, it is approximately a 20 - 30 minute walk.
The yellow arrow points the only way back into town from the airfield.
